Frequently asked

Is the first session really free?
Yes — every new student gets a free 15-minute intro call with Atif. It's a chance to chat about what your child needs, which subjects they're struggling with, and whether StudyVolt is the right fit. No payment details needed.
Can I cancel or reschedule sessions?
Yes, with 24 hours notice. Life happens — we understand. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged at 50% of the session fee.
What exam boards do you cover?
AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and WJEC — all major GCSE and A-Level exam boards. Just let us know your child's board when you get in touch and sessions will be tailored accordingly.
Is Atif DBS checked?
Yes. Atif holds an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate and has completed safeguarding training. Parents are always welcome to observe online sessions if they wish.
How do group sessions work online?
Group sessions run via Zoom or Google Meet. Students join a shared online classroom where Atif uses a digital whiteboard to explain concepts and work through problems. Sessions are interactive — students can ask questions throughout.
What's included in the block booking?
When you book 5 sessions upfront, the 5th session is completely free — saving you 20%. Block bookings are paid in advance via bank transfer and are valid for 10 weeks from the date of first session.
